TIBCO Software Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a software developer to join our OS R&D Tools Team in our Stafford, Texas office.  The candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing TIBCO's OpenSpirit .NET tools. Responsibilities include working with support and testing organizations in troubleshoot issues and fixing deficiencies, and working with our product manager, domain experts, and technical leads in analyzing, implementing, and testing enhancement requests.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required Skills:

• 3+ years with hands-on experience using the following:  object-oriented methodology, C#, .NET Framework, WinForms, Visual Studio 2008 and 2010, and XML.
• Strong programming, analytical, and testing skills.
• Excellent communications skills to clearly communicate issues and solutions to others.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other team members.

 Desired Skills:

• Experience with SQL programming.
• Experience with GIS, in particular, ESRI's ArcGIS applications and SDKs.
• Experience with Schlumberger Ocean SDK and Petrel.
• Knowledge of oil and gas exploration/production domain.
• Knowledge of Agile Principal and Methodology.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
