SUPPORT ENGINEER

Seeking a Software Support Engineer to assist customers with technical issues and product training

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium. 
  • Interface with Sales, Marketing and Development to improve product quality and design.
  • Provide training to clients in the use of systems and applications as releated to the products.
  • Troubleshooting and finding resolutions to technical problems reported by customers
  • Document problems and solutions to company knowledge base.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Computer Science or related industry discipline (BS Geology or Geophysics)
  • 5+ years of industry experience in using G & G applications and data stores
  • A thorough knowledge of oil industry Exploration and Production interpretative data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Needs to be able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Working knowledge of Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems
