OpenSpirit-enabled Applications from Microsoft:
- Excel Adapter (developed by OpenSpirit)
- Ocean-Petrel Application Adapter (developed by OpenSpirit)
- OpenSpirit SDK (developed by OpenSpirit)
OpenSpirit is a participant in the Microsoft Upstream Reference Architecture Project, and leverages Microsoft technology as part of our commercial product offerings.
The OpenSpirit Runtime environment is supported on Windows XP 32/64, Windows Vista 32/64, Windows Server 2003 32/64 and Windows Server 2008 32/64. The OpenSpirit Runtime is compatible with Microsoft .NET v 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0.
Ocean-Petrel Application Adapter is a .NET-based application developed using Microsoft Visual Studio. OpenSpirit also integrates with Microsoft technology as part of our Excel Adapter, which allows the transfer of G&G data into Microsoft Excel. End users can use the full power of Excel to analyze their business-critical geoscience data. The Excel Adapter runs on Office 2003 and Office 2007.
The OpenSpirit SDK is available in a number of programming languages. The .NET version of the SDK is widely used by the members of the OpenSpirit Partner Network in the development of their OpenSpirit-enabled application adapters. The SDK supports Visual Studio 2003, 2008 and 2010.
In addition, OpenSpirit leverages Microsoft Sharepoint technology as part of our internal knowledge management processes.
