PARTNER PROFILE
FUSE Information Management is a software development company delivering advanced knowledge and work management products for E&P. Their flagship product is XStreamline, a customer-proven, Web-based E&P team productivity tool. FUSE IM also provides professional services to help customers, design, deploy, manage and support XStreamline.

BUSINESS CHALLENGES
XStreamline enables clients to:

  • Capture and document the processes that underpin projects and routine operations
  • Establish collaborative online environments for communicating process knowledge between and within teams
  • Automate processes to eliminate transcription, handover, data capture, routine administration and other drudgery
  • Gather process metrics that enable managers to understand and evolve their business operations
  • Integrate process automation with information management systems

BENEFITS
XStreamline is changing the rules of engagement between the Geoscience and Data Management user communities, and can be used to build an asset team productivity portal that gives access to corporate level data and includes workflows for the full information lifecycle (e.g., loading, searching, QC, review). XStreamline focuses on four main areas:

  1. Collaborative, distributed work management
  2. End-user interfaces that can engage the casual user
  3. Integration with existing data
  4. Maintaining an audit trail in an integrated data environment

XStreamline connects to OpenSpirit via enterprise Web services, allowing access to any OpenSpirit-enabled data store for information such as headers, curves, picks, etc., from your master repository. XStreamline then integrates this with data from other sources such as map servers and other business repositories. By leveraging OpenSpirit, XStreamline can aggregate data from many sources of corporate data compared to connecting to the sources independently as well as leverage OpenSpirit services and standards-based approach.
