The OpenSpirit runtime provides the supporting
infrastructure to enable application and data integration. The OpenSpirit
runtime consists of the following services which are used by the OpenSpirit
Data Connectors and vendor Application Adapters:
These Shared Services are run as a daemon process on a Linux or Solaris
host designated during the OpenSpirit master installation in a site.
In addition, the OpenSpirit Runtime bundles some reusable user components
including :

- Display selected attributes of all OpenSpirit object types
- Use basic or advanced query builder to find data based on attribuet
values
- Use GIS selection areas broadcast from ArcView to do spatial selction
of data
- Send and receive data selection selection events

3D Viewer
 

- Display 2D and 3D seismic, wells, wellbores, logs, picks, horizon,
horizon attributes, faults, drilling targets, and culture GIS features
- Send and receive data selection events
- Send and receive cursor location or POI (Point of Interest) events
- Receive GIS Feature selection events
- QC data in a consistent user chosen coordinate system (either depth
or time domain)
Well Viewer
 

- Display well logs and picks (markers)
- Send and receive data selection events
- QC data (including histogram and cross plot)
Section Viewer
 

- Display seismic 3D or 2D section, horizon and faults
- Overlay sections
- Receive data selection events
- Send and receive cursor location event
