INTEGRATION FRAMEWORK

The OpenSpirit environment consists of a base framework and the specific subsurface application adapters and data store connectors for your databases and data formats.

All applications connected to the framework gain access to a rich set of services, including management of virtual  project sets, user sessions, conversion of units and geographic coordinate transformations.

  • DataSelector – generic tool to select data
  • 3D Viewer – simple 3D viewer of all data types
  • Well Viewer – well track view of logs and picks
  • Section Viewer – 2D/3D seismic display along with horizons and faults

DATA MANAGEMENT TOOLS

  • Excel Adapter – Use Excel to view and analyze data from any OpenSpirit-enabled data store via the OpenSpirit connectors. Recent data types include fault polylines, horizon-fault boundaries, and pointsets.
  • Copy Manager 2010 – This next generation Copy Manager utility will help you improve efficiency and automate workflows with one-step data transfer among OpenSpirit-enabled data stores. Data can be copied from multiple source projects to a destination project in a single step without any intermediate files or steps, making ASCII procedures a thing of the past. Data may be selected by examining attributes or by spatial query using a GIS selection in ArcGIS.
  • OpenSpirit Adapter for Petrel - Offers seamless access to all the industry-standard project data stores, including GeoFrame, Finder, OpenWorks, PPDM, Recall, SEGY, SDE, and KINGDOM. End users can simultaneously work on multi-vendor and cross-disciplinary data stores with a simple step, without the need to learn multiple user interfaces. Petrel users can now be liberated from the time-consuming task of searching for the right data to load into Petrel. This certified Ocean application adapter is developed, maintained and supported by OpenSpirit.

GIS TOOLS

  • Scan Utility – Build shape files or write to an SDE-enabled database to create GIS spatial information to represent well, seismic and interpretation data from all of your projects in any OpenSpirit-enabled data store.
  • OpenSpirit Extension for ArcGIS – Use ArcGIS as a spatial selection tool for OpenSpirit data viewers and third-party OpenSpirit-enabled applications. The OpenSpirit Extension for ArcGIS offers intuitive selection attributes and allows ArcMAP to receive and  display automatically created shape files of many well, seismic interpretation, and culture data types.

WEB TOOLS

  • Web Server – Execute a subset of OpenSpirit workflows via a pre-configured set of OpenSpirit services that lets you browse or select data, as well as send data selection events to any OpenSpirit-enabled desktop application.
    • Access these services within your own Web-client browser environment or use the OpenSpirit Web client browser capability
    • Leverage built-in 2D, 3D and seismic/log viewers
    • Export data to Excel on the desktop or to Google Earth
