Why did the color of the well pick
show as UNKNOWN when it i has a color in the vendor data store?
When the color of a well pick is retrieved from the vendor data store,
it is converted to a color name in the OpenSpirit authority. The conversion
is based on the Reference Value Map, which maps data from the vendor
color to the OpenSpirit color. Currently this mapping is case sensitive.
In the instance that the color name of a well pick is in a different
case than what is in the map, the mapping will fail and the OpenSpirit
color UNKNOWN will be used. If it is critical that the color be shown
on your application, you may refer to the Reference Value Service document
to find out how to add additional color names and mappings to the Reference
Value Service.
