Is GeoFrame 4.3 compatible with OpenSpirit v2.9.0?

Why can't I see any projects when I try to create a Project Set- I'm not getting any errors!

There may be a couple of reasons as to why no projects are appearing. First, check to make sure that you have the BASELINE_ACCT set correctly.

For example, if the BASELINE_ACCT is "GF4_0_2" and you put "gf4_0_2", then it won't find the projects. Check that using the $OSP_HOME/bin/ospconfig configuration tool.

Or if you have a BASELINE_ACCT that is mixed case "Gf4_0_3a", then the BASELINE_ACCT MUST be all uppercase in the config. tool "GF4_0_3A", even when it appears as mixed case in GeoFrame_Runtime.csh. Oracle needs the account to be all upper case.

If the BASELINE_ACCT is correct, then make sure that you have access to the GeoFrame projects with the user id that is running the OpenSpirit launcher.

Yes, however you will need to apply a patch to your OpenSpirit Master installation (Linux or Solaris). To apply the patch do the following:

  1. Download the OSP290_GF43_patch.tar patch file.
  2. Copy the patch file to your $OSP_HOME directory.
  3. Untar the patch file:
    ($ untar -xvfp OSP290_GF43_patch.tar)
